Record Class Command

java.lang.Object
java.lang.Record
com.tnsai.quality.sandbox.Command
Record Components:
argv - argument vector. Index 0 is the program; positional arguments follow. Empty argv is rejected.
stdin - optional bytes piped to the process's stdin

public record Command(List<String> argv, Optional<byte[]> stdin) extends Record
One executable step inside a Sandbox (TNS-296). Wraps the argv plus optional stdin so callers can run multiple commands in the same sandbox lifetime without recreating it.
Since:
0.10.0 (TNS-296)
  • Constructor Details

    • Command

      public Command(List<String> argv, Optional<byte[]> stdin)
      Creates an instance of a Command record class.
      Parameters:
      argv - the value for the argv record component
      stdin - the value for the stdin record component
  • Method Details

    • of

      public static Command of(String... args)
      Convenience for argv-only commands.
    • shell

      public static Command shell(String script)
      Run a shell pipeline. The caller is responsible for shell-escaping; the framework does not parse script. Defaults to /bin/sh -c <script> on POSIX backends; the Windows backend translates this to cmd /c <script>.
    • withStdin

      public static Command withStdin(List<String> argv, String stdin)
      Convenience for argv + stdin.
    • toString

      public final String toString()
      Returns a string representation of this record class. The representation contains the name of the class, followed by the name and value of each of the record components.
      Specified by:
      toString in class Record
      Returns:
      a string representation of this object
    • hashCode

      public final int hashCode()
      Returns a hash code value for this object. The value is derived from the hash code of each of the record components.
      Specified by:
      hashCode in class Record
      Returns:
      a hash code value for this object
    • equals

      public final boolean equals(Object o)
      Indicates whether some other object is "equal to" this one. The objects are equal if the other object is of the same class and if all the record components are equal. All components in this record class are compared with Objects::equals(Object,Object).
      Specified by:
      equals in class Record
      Parameters:
      o - the object with which to compare
      Returns:
      true if this object is the same as the o argument; false otherwise.
    • argv

      public List<String> argv()
      Returns the value of the argv record component.
      Returns:
      the value of the argv record component
    • stdin

      public Optional<byte[]> stdin()
      Returns the value of the stdin record component.
      Returns:
      the value of the stdin record component
