public interface McpRegistrySource
Interface for MCP server registry sources.

Implementations connect to external registries (official MCP registry, Smithery, mcpservers.org, etc.) to discover available MCP servers.

Each source provides search, lookup, and listing capabilities for MCP server entries published in that registry.

    • getSourceName

      String getSourceName()
      Returns the name of this registry source.
      Returns:
      source name (e.g. "official", "smithery", "mcpservers.org", "camel")

    • search

      List<McpServerEntry> search(String query) throws IOException
      Searches the registry for servers matching the given query.
      Parameters:
      query - search query string
      Returns:
      list of matching server entries
      Throws:
      IOException - if the registry cannot be reached

    • getServer

      Optional<McpServerEntry> getServer(String name) throws IOException
      Looks up a specific server by name.
      Parameters:
      name - the server name
      Returns:
      the server entry if found
      Throws:
      IOException - if the registry cannot be reached

    • listAll

      List<McpServerEntry> listAll() throws IOException
      Lists all available servers from this registry.
      Returns:
      list of all server entries
      Throws:
      IOException - if the registry cannot be reached
