Keyword search over the text files an agent writes during a run, and the line format of its .history and .log files.

• AgentRecordFormat: the MDC keys, logback patterns and file extensions a host writes the files with. Every line carries a conversation field.
• RecordParser: reads that format back.
• IncrementalTextFilesRetriever: a RetrievalEngine.Retriever over one agent's episode-N/<agent>/ folders that indexes only what was appended since its last search.
• RecordInterpreter: the host's reading of its own records as notes, messages told or said, or records left out.
