Enum Class NotificationKind

java.lang.Object
java.lang.Enum<NotificationKind>
com.tnsai.hooks.events.NotificationKind
All Implemented Interfaces:
Serializable, Comparable<NotificationKind>, Constable

public enum NotificationKind extends Enum<NotificationKind>
Type of user-attention event carried by OnNotification (issue #60). Drives routing decisions in the notification hook layer — a CONFIRMATION_REQUIRED goes to synchronous channels (current chat); LONG_RUNNING may page an async channel (Telegram, email).
Since:
0.5.0 (issue #60)
  • Enum Constant Details

    • CONFIRMATION_REQUIRED

      public static final NotificationKind CONFIRMATION_REQUIRED
      Agent needs explicit user approval to proceed (destructive operation, high-cost LLM call, cross-tenant action).
    • LONG_RUNNING

      public static final NotificationKind LONG_RUNNING
      A long-running operation has started; the agent is warning the user it may be a while. Hooks can ack / route to an async channel.
    • ERROR

      public static final NotificationKind ERROR
      Something went wrong that the user should know about even if the chat isn't actively focused.
    • IDLE

      public static final NotificationKind IDLE
      The agent is idle / waiting; use for "still here?" style re-engagement prompts.
