Idle "I'm still alive" pulse for runs that perform a long-running step without intermediate checkpoints. Drives RunConfig.progressTimeout bookkeeping; an orchestrator with a 10-minute progress timeout uses heartbeats to assert that a 30-minute LLM call hasn't silently hung.
